Op zondag zou ik van 15u00 tot 17u00 bij de PL een workshop Support & Recovery faciliteren. Support & Recovery gaat over hoe je kunt omgaan met stressvolle ervaringen zoals politiegeweld en repressie, en hoe we elkaar daarin kunnen ondersteunen. De workshop is door mij gecanceld.
[English] I was supposed to facilitate a Support & Recovery workshop on Sunday (3pm - 5pm) at the Pinksterlanddagen. S&R is about how to deal with stressful experiences such as police violence and repression. The workshop has been canceled by me.

Na de post van Maikel hier op indymedia (https://www.indymedia.nl/node/43520) heb ik contact gezocht met de PL. Dit hele gebeuren beviel me namelijk al niet in 2013 (zie mijn verklaring: https://maikel.tiny-host.nl/scene_politics/pl-ooggetuigenverslag.php) en ik was dan ook onaangenaam verrast dat het nog steeds speelde en dat er geen lessen uit zijn getrokken.
Het antwoord van de PL beviel me allerminst. Op mijn vragen of dit 'voormalige A-team' handelde vanuit de orga van de PL en of het klopte dat Maikel niet welkom was, heb ik geen duidelijk antwoord gekregen. Ik moest het maar tussen de regels van het gezwam doorlezen. Terwijl het nou juist één van mijn grote bezwaren in deze zaak is, dat er niet open en helder werd gecommuniceerd. En daarmee bedoel ik niet dat iemand die een onprettige of misschien beangstigende ervaring achter de rug heeft, verplicht zou zijn om de details aan de grote klok te hangen. Totaal niet. Maar er had op z'n minst open en helder naar Maikel gecommuniceerd kunnen worden. Er had op z'n minst een gesprek mogen komen. Er had duidelijkheid gegeven mogen worden over een A-team, voormalig en niet aanwezig, maar kennelijk toch bepalend in wie het uitsluit.
Als ik dan ook nog eens ambtenarenpraat te horen krijg ('lees dit statement, dat verheldert misschien het eea', terwijl het statement juist volkomen vaag maar wel beschuldigend blijft, of 'we kunnen niet inhoudelijk op de situatie reageren'), dan denk ik, gatver. Ze hebben zich om de één of andere onbegrijpelijke reden draaikonten-politici-praat eigen gemaakt.
Dit waren voldoende redenen voor mij om niet te willen bijdragen aan de PL en ik heb mijn workshop dan ook gecanceld.
Het spijt me oprecht voor de mensen die van plan waren om naar de workshop te komen. Je kan me altijd (met een kleine groep) uitnodigen voor een workshop op locatie, of een kijkje nemen op de S&R website (https://supportrecoveryteam.wordpress.com/) of een mailtje sturen als je met dringende vragen over S&R zit.

After Maikel's post here on indymedia (https://www.indymedia.nl/node/43520) I contacted the PL. I already did not like this whole event in 2013 (see my statement: https://maikel.tiny-host.nl/scene_politics/pl eyewitness report.php) and was therefore unpleasantly surprised that it still played and that no lessons have been learned.
I didn't like the PL's answer at all. To my questions whether this 'former A team' was acting from the organizing group of the PL and whether it was true that Maikel was not welcome, I did not receive a clear answer. I just had to read it between the lines. While it is precisely one of my major objections in this case that there was no open and clear communication. And by that I don't mean that someone who has had an unpleasant or perhaps frightening experience would be forced to speak about all the details in public. Not at all. But at the very least it could have been communicated openly and clearly to Maikel. At the very least, we should have had a discussion. Clarification should have been given about an A team, former and not present, but apparently determining who is excluded.
On top of that, their answer contained a lot of what I perceive as bureaucratic official talk ('read this statement, that perhaps clarifies a lot', while the statement remains completely vague but yet accusing, or 'we can't respond to the situation in terms of content') and to be honest, this makes me want to puke. For some incomprehensible reason, they started to use politician-talk.
These were sufficient reasons for me not to want to contribute to the PL and I cancelled my workshop.
