Sam is a Palestinian queer political prisoner who has been targeted by the Dutch state for his activism and identity. He has been imprisoned for 2 months and currently kept in administrative detention in Leeuwarden, far away from his friends and family.

Sam was violently arrested in the middle of the day at the Dam, and since then none of his friends or family have been able to visit him. Sam has been abused in prison and left in his cell without food, water or medical care for days. Yet, in court, the judge believed the talk of the police and completely dismissed Sams testimony where he spoke about the abuse.

Unjustly he has been branded a 'public danger' and been kept imprisoned on the unconstitutional basis that the student protests for Palestine are still ongoing. This violates not only Sams right to demonstrate but also by extension all of our rights, as they try to shut down student protests by imprisoning a Palestinian.

Lets show Sam he is not alone and stand tall at the solidarity demonstration at the Leeuwarden prison on Monday at 16:00, meeting point: Lange deelstraat 4‼️
