Ondanks druk van beide vakbonden, waaronder de IWW, en de Cypriotische
regering, werden deze maand werknemers van Anytime, een dochteronderneming
van de Nederlandse verzekeringsgigant Achmea, ontslagen.
Acht medewerkers werden ontslagen tijdens een staking tegen Anytime, een dochteronderneming van Achmea Holding N.V. De staking volgde op het ontslag van een collega Wobbly en mislukte onderhandelingen tussen het bedrijf en de werknemers, die werden vertegenwoordigd door de Pancyprian Federation of Labour en de Cyprus IWW.
Voor de 140ste flitsactie gaat actiegroep Niet Te Koop naar hartje centrum waar onder de ogen van wethouder Zita Pels en het massatoerisme door Ymere de benedenwoning Staalstraat 9 te koop is aangeboden voor het asociale bedrag van €600.000. Zo gewild dat het binnen een week al 'onder bod' staat. Je kan er vergif op innemen dat er flink overboden is. Wie zal dat betalen? Een stroman van een rijke Rus?
Percentage sociale voorraad daalt
De volgende motie werd al in 1917 door de gemeenteraad aangenomen:

Stonden we eind 2022 voor Herculesstraat 46A, komende zaterdag is de flitsactie van Niet Te Koop, de 141ste, er twee huizen naast: Herculesstraat 42A. Voor de lieve som van €485.000 heeft Alliantie deze benedenwoning te koop gezet.
Stadionbuurt wordt uitgepond.
Het lijkt erop dat Alliantie alles kwijt wil in de Stadionbuurt.
Zaterdag gaat actiegroep Niet Te Koop voor haar 142ste flitsactie naar de Spaarndammer buurt, waar jongerenhuisvester De Key te koop heeft aangeboden de benedenwoning Van Noordtkade 100 met een vraagprijs van €400.000. De markt is alweer zo overspannen dat binnen een week de woning al 'onder bod' staat. Er gaat dus flink overboden worden, kun je van uitgaan.
Het blok met van Noordtkade 100 werd gebouwd voor woningbouwvereniging Het Westen en opgeleverd in 1985. Het blok werd gebouwd tegen het gebouw van de Technische Unie.

Actiegroep Niet Te Koop strijdt voor een stop op de verkoop van sociale huurwoningen door woningcorporaties in Amsterdam. Flitsactie 143 is zaterdag 26-8 in Amsterdam Oost waar vastgoedcorporatie Stadgenoot 2e Boerhaavestraat 55a in de verkoop heeft gezet.voor € 420.000,-.
Het blok aan de tweede Boerhaavestraat met 17 woningen werd opgeleverd in 1988. Nog 8 woningen zijn van Corporatie Stadgenoot. Met de verkoop van nummer 55A heeft de corporatie nog slechts 47% over. Dat is in strijd met de afspraken van vroeger. Stadgenoot en rechtsvoorganger WBV Het Oosten zou 51% houden.
