In Kelsterbach, a Frankfurt/Main suburb, local mayor Manfred Ockel was caught red-handed employing the herbicide "glyphosate." Ockel's intent was to remove all bushes and shrubs from boundary forests near Frankfurt/Main airport preserved for the protection of neighbours against noise and dust, apparently for perceived security pretexts.
