In October the Amsterdam Rebel Clowns introduced the 'Rebel Clown Army' in Egypt. A tour with a Basic Rebel Clown Training and presentation in Caïro and performances in Caïro and Mansoura. Faster than expected Rebelact got the invitation to return. This time the tour goes to Alexandria and again Caïro!
For sure Egypt needs an Army: a Rebel Clown Army able to intervene on the streets when and where needed!
That's why this second mission will deliver presentations about creative activism and rebel clowning in Alexandria and Caïro, performances (practice on the streets) and workshops.
Saturday, Nov. 10th - Saturday Nov. 17th, 14:00 - 19:00: Extended Basic Rebel Clown Training in Alexandria
Monday, Nov. 19th and Friday, Nov. 23rd and Saturday, Nov. 24th, 12.00 - 18.00: Additional Rebel Clown workshops and practice on the streets in Caïro.
Next to it: presentations about creative activism and rebel clowning in both cities and other activities to strengthen the creative activist network and to translate the concept of rebel clowning into the Egyptian circumstances.
