Voor miljoenen Amerikaanse mensen met een baarmoeder staat de toegang tot een veilig abortus op de tocht. De mogelijke herroeping van de fundamentele uitspraak Roe vs. Wade door het Hooggerechtshof zal hiervoor zorgen. Daarmee wordt hun mensenrecht tot lichamelijke zelfbeschikking afgenomen en hun menswaardigheid aangetast. Vrouwen, mensen, over de hele wereld zijn gekwetst, gefrustreerd en woedend. We mogen dit niet laten gebeuren!

Deze verschrikkelijke ontwikkeling beperkt zich niet tot de VS: ook in NL is de anti-abortus lobby groot - vele malen groter dan je denkt. Bedoeld om ons te beroven van onze autonomie. Toch buigen wij niet voor onderdrukking, maar mobiliseren ons ertegen. Sta op voor zelfbeschikking en kom naar de solidariteitsdemonstratie op zaterdag 7 mei de Dam in Amsterdam!

DEMO: MY BODY, MY CHOICE - IN THE USA, TOO!

As the news broke that the U.S. Supreme Court will potentially revoke the fundamental ruling Roe vs. Wade, millions of Americans with a uterus face the threat to loss their access to safe abortion. This diminishes their basic human right to self-determination and undermines their human dignity. Women, people, all over the world are hurt, frustrated and furious. We cannot let this happen!
This terrible development is not limited to the United States: the anti-abortion lobby in the Netherlands is also strong - much stronger than is commonly known. This is meant to rob us of our autonomy. But we do not bend to oppression, but mobilize against it. Stand up for self-determination and come to the solidarity demonstration on Saturday May 7th at Dam Square in Amsterdam!
