Arsalan Rezaei's goals as a struggler and an atheist have been immortalized in the atheist movement in Iran and we will continue his path.
Arsalan Rezaei was a young man who was doing struggles against Iranian regime and criticizing the religion, particularly Islam. He was immigrated from Iran to turkey some time ago to continue his political activities. Among his political activities was the management of several pages called "Khurafat Kadeh" with tens of thousands members on social media. In addition to republishing political news, these pages were widely disseminating content, images, and videos against the Iranian regime, as well as criticizing religions, especially Islam.
Years ago, especially since 2015, with the Telegram epidemic in Iran, many autonomous pages were created in social media, which concluded broke the monopoly of the Iranian regime in publishing news. The majority of these independent pages were run by atheists, including Arsalan Rezaei as a atheist, whose main purpose was to criticize the religion and policies of the ruling regime in Iran. As a person who has been managing the first page of the atheists(in Telegram) for many years named "Atheist Army" and I have been fighting alongside other friends in the Iranian atheist movement for many years, I consider it my political and historical duty to declare that Arsalan Rezaei was an atheist and an struggler against Iranian regime. Another important issue for Arsalan Rezaei is that in 2017, at the same time as the presidential election in Iran, a split was formed in the atheist movement in Iran; On the one hand, a part of the atheist movement in Iran, led by Zeus, took stand to vote in the regime's elections, and on the other, another part of movement, led by the atheist army, took a stand against the regime's elections; "I must say that Arsalan Rezaei had a position against any participation in the regime elections." In my opinion, it is important to clarify for the future that Arsalan Rezaei had no hope about reforming the Iranian regime, he was a subversive. On December 10, IRGC CYBER reported that Arsalan Rezaei had been assassinated in front of his home in Turkey. Although the IRGC has not officially claimed responsibility for Arsalan Rezaei 's assassination, he was clearly assassinated by the IRGC in Turkey. Arsalan Rezaei has repeatedly stated explicitly that the real cause of the problems in Iran is the existence of the Iranian regime. He believed that the destruction of the Iranian regime would solve the fundamental problems in Iran. The assassination of Arsalan Rezaei was not the first terrorist attack by the Iranian regime and Islamists, hundreds of political activists abroad have been assassinated by the Iranian regime so far, and there has been assassination in the history of Islam, as the prophet himself was a terrorist. Of course, one should not deny Turkey's political position in suppressing political critics, especially religious critics, the Turkish regime is becoming another Islamic state. Many of the assassinations of the Iranian regime in Turkey are carried out with the knowledge and even full cooperation of the Turkish security services. Arsalan Rezaei's goals as a struggler and an atheist have been immortalized in the atheist movement in Iran and we will continue his path.
