We are honored to welcome some comrades from the Internationalist Commune of Rojava in NieuwLand.


The Internationalist Commune is a collective of people from mainly Western countries that joined the revolution and have done a lot of work of support to the struggle, there in Rojava but also abroad by trying to spread the ideas and the practices of Democratic Confederalism outside of a Kurdish context. The hope is to use the event as an occasion to strengthen the actions of solidarity that are being organised here in the Netherlands, and also as an occasion to reflect on how to put learnings from the revolution into practice here in a Western context.
