We will show our anger towards the sale of the city.
Opposing Tourism, airbnb, gentrification, sale of the social housing,
segregation of neighbourhoods, the destruction of social centres and
non-profit organisations. Small businesses struggle with extreme shop
rents, the city is becoming unaffordable, young people and students
can’t afford to live anywhere and existing communities are pushed out.

WHY?
We will show our anger towards the sale of the city.
Opposing Tourism, airbnb, gentrification, sale of the social housing,
segregation of neighbourhoods, the destruction of social centres and
non-profit organisations. Small businesses struggle with extreme shop
rents, the city is becoming unaffordable, young people and students
can’t afford to live anywhere and existing communities are pushed out.
As the city commercialises, free space disappears to make way for
business and capital. Spaces like the ADM and other free zones stand for
a way of life and community that is the foundation of creativity,
culture and honest living in any city.
If free and accessible spaces have to disappear, what’s next? What are
we going to do about affordable housing and workplaces, which are
becoming increasingly scarce: the purpose of this demo is to signal that
enough is enough: the city belongs to us all: no exclusion, no social
segregation, no monoculture.
We invite everyone to stop the demolition and sale of the city.

We laten onze ontevredenheid zien met de uit verkoop van onze stad.
Tegen tourisme, airbnb, gentrificatie, verkoop van sociale huisvesting,
segregatie van buurten en al bestaande sociale centra. Kleine
ondernemingen moeten extreem hogen huur betalen; De stad word
onbetaalbaar, jonge mensen en studenten kunnen geen huisvesting betalen
en bestaande laagdrempelige gemeenschapen worden de stad uit gejaagd.

Door dat de stad commercialiseerd moeten vrije plekken wijken voor het
grote geld en monokultuur. Plekken zoals de ADM en andere vrije plaatsen
verwezenlijken een leefwijze van Creativiteit ,cultuur en duurzaamheid.
Als toegankelijke en autonome plekken verdwijnen, wat volgt? Hoe lossen
we het gebrek aan betaalbaren woningen en werkplaatsen die steeds
schaarser worden op? Genoeg is genoeg! is de stelling van deze publieke
uiting. Geen uitzonderingen, Geen verdeeldheid, Geen mono cultuur
hierbij nodigen wij iedereen uit om de sloop en verkoop van de stad te
stoppen.
