Free the #VanGogh8 — "Wake" at the Van Gogh Museum

While five people were released today, four artists from Fossil Free Culture NL are being held in policy custody for a second night. They remain anonymous and have been transferred to foreign detention. The arrest happened Friday evening after their surprise performance [VIDEO] drawing attention to the toxic relationship between the museum and oil giant Shell.
Fossil Free Culture NL is now calling on your support to help free the #VanGogh8!
Come this Sunday to the Van Gogh Museum for a solidarity "wake". We call on the museum to release our fellow artists immediately and without charges. We continue to call on the Museum to break free from their partnership with Shell.
We gather at 14:00h at the big "I AMSTERDAM" letters at the side of the Rijksmuseum. From there we will walk as a group towards the Van Gogh.
Wear black. No banners. It is a solemn event.
A short statement will be read and we will hold a minutes silence together to mark this grave inversion of justice.
