In minder dan een week, start de landelijke demotour van 'Geen kind aan de kant'! Op 21-22 mei en 28-29 mei demonstreren we samen met de vluchtelingenkinderen en hun ouders voor hun rechten en vragen we aandacht voor de situatie in de gezinslocaties en de gezinsgevangenis Kamp Zeist. In twee weekenden zullen we in totaal op zes plaatsen demonstreren.

Meer dan duizend kinderen en hun ouders leven met de dagelijkse dreiging van politie-invallen, arrestaties en deportatie. Ze wonen in de zogenaamde 'gezinslocaties', waarvan er zeven zijn in Nederland.

In het weekend van 21-22 mei gaat de demotour naar Gilze-Rijen, Katwijk en Den Helder. In het tweede weekend, 28-29 mei, doen we Amersfoort en Emmen aan en sluiten we af met een lawaaidemo bij gezinsgevangenis Kamp Zeist.
Beide weekenden stappen we op zaterdag om 11:00u op in Utrecht, waar je op zondag aan het begin van de avond ook weer wordt teruggebracht. Behalve de demo's zorgen we ook voor vegan eten 's avonds, een avondprogramma, overnachting en ontbijt.

In less than a week, the nation-wide demo tour for 'No child to the side' will start! On May 21-22 and May 28-29 we will demonstrate together with the refugee children and their parents for their rights and we denounce the situation at the family locations ans the family prison Kamp Zeist. In two weekends, there will be demo's at six locations in total.

More than thousand children and their parents are submitted to the constant threat of police raids, arrest and deportation. They live at the so-called 'family locations', of which there are seven in the Netherlands.

On the 21st-22nd of May the demo tour will come to Gilze-Rijen, Katwijk and Den Helder. In the second weekend, 28-29th of May, we will demonstrate at Amersfoort and Emmen, to close off with a noise demo at family prison Kamp Zeist.
Both weekends, the bus departure will be Saturdays at 11am at Utrecht, where you will be brought back on Sundays, at the start of the evening. Except for the demo's there will also be vegan food, an evening programm, a place to sleep and breakfast.
