NO TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
The Church of Scientology has joined to the Blue hearth Campaign against the trafficking, released by the United Nations office against Drugs and crime
Human Trafficking is a crime where force, fraud or deception, are used against victims, generally women or children, to whom are moved from poor environments to the richest ones with the only purpose to exploit them economically by prostitution or hard working.
One of the educative tools of the church of Scientology that uses in their activities to fight against Human Trafficking and other abuses of the Human Rights is a campaign (directed to youth, but equally adequate for adults) centered on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights from the ONU. To be widely avaliable, the Church of Scientology Human Rights Department, in collaboration with Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI) has produced 30 TV public service announcements (PSA) – that shows each of the 30 Articles of Universal declaration of Human rights from the ONU – available in 17 languages.
To mobilize public opinion against modern slavery, the church is widely circulating the short film ¨No Slavery¨, which is one of these 30 public service announcements. The short films are also available in YouTube and in this special video channel .
As how L. Ronald Hubbard, founder of Scientology religion, declared: "Human Rights must be a Reality, not just an idealistic dream¨. This is what we are working for and want to achieve.
