The feminist platform "Feministisch Verzet" organizes an debate on Zwarte Piet and racism in the Dutch public sphere.
Speakers:
- Annette Krauss (an artist who teaches at the Art academy in Utrecht and who was one of the artists of the project Read the Masks: Tradition is not Given, that was presented few years ago in Eindhoven but then shut down for the critiques and threats received by the artists and the museum itself)
- Gloria Wekker (a feminist scholar and activist who has been teaching for a long time in the Graduate Gender Programme at UU)
- member of the collective Redmond Amsterdam (an intersectional feminist collective active in Amsterdam).
