Right now, everybody is busy with the war in Gaza, but please people,
don't forget the people worldwide in jail.
Wellknown prisoners like, Mumia Abu-Jamal or Leonard Peltier,
spending more then 42 years in jail, are getting older,older and sicker.
The State hope they will die from themselves, without a fair trial and
without justice. These prisoners are fighting from the jailhouse; not
only for their own freedom, but for the other prisoners and next
generations as well.
They are preparing a path, towards our freedom.

FREEDOM FOR MUMIA ABU-JAMAL & ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS.
Mumia Abu-Jamal is an African-American reporter and political activist,
who spent 42 years innocent in the prison of Pennsylvania,
from which he spent 30 years in isolation on deathrow.
They called him ,'the voice of the voiceless' as he reported about
racism & policebrutality in the U.S.A.,
in jail he wrote several books about this problems. (See: Fort van Sjako)
In 1982 Mumia got in a fighting, which ended with 1 dead, white policeman, (Daniel Faulkner).
Mumia, severely shot and beaten up by the police, survived.
In the trial, where his legal rights were clearly violated.......that means....
all black jurymembers got dismissed and changed for white ones;
the witnesses were manipulated and put under pressure, and the white judge,
just wanted to see this black man dead.
WE CALL THIS LEGAL RACISM !
So he was sentenced to death, for a murder he didn't commit.
Worldwide protests then started, supported by Amnesty International, the late
Mandela & Desmond Tutu, Rage against the machine and many others.
After so much protests, the deathpenalty got changed into lifesentence
without parole.
This was 2011.
ONLY THE PRESSURE OF THE INTERNATIONAL
MOVEMENT KEPT MUMIA ALIVE & WE HAVE TO KEEP THAT PRESSURE !
Then they found Hepetitus C on Mumia; they refused to treat him.
Mumia almost died and in this very critical situation he started a courtcase
to demand treatment.
He won and is now hepetitusfree. Because he won the courtcase,
now ALL prisoners will get acces to the medicine.
The many cards that people wrote to the Governor, helped againg to save his live.
Some years ago 6 boxes with new evidence showed up, all this time hidden by the state.
The judge then decided that all this files have to be opened in a new trial.
Now we have a new judge, judge Clemons; She will decide in this months
if Mumia get a new hearing, which means a new trial, which means FREEDOM.
IN MARCH 2023 SHE DENIED MUMIA A NEW TRIAL !
The widow of Faulkner, member of the FOP, an ultra rightwing police-union,
succesfully delaying the proces, wishing that Mumia, with vulnerable health,
will die in prison, ......we cannot let this happen !
THE FIGHT FOR MUMIA'S FREEDOM IS A PART OF THE
STRUGGLE AGAINST BLACK OPPRESSION, POLITIcAL
REPRESSION, CLASS STRUGGLE.....
AS WELL AS THIS COUNTRY'S RACIST-DEATH-PENALTY,
MASS-INCARCERATION AND THE PRISON- INDUSTRIAL -COMPLEX.
