Added introduction based on discussion: warning about a person who is and has been very problematic mostly within Amsterdam, disturbing political, radical and/or queer spaces and events. The person is already banned from Plantage Dok (for assaulting people on the Anarchist Book Fair), Binnenpret/Bollox/OCCII (for assaulting people on the birthday of the Anarchist Library) and the Vrankrijk (for assaulting people and problematic drug use). People have tried to help this person already for many years, but this only exacerbated the problems.
This weekend, another event that is anarchist, radical or queer, has been violently disturbed by a person who has been doing this for the past years.
This weekend, another event that radical, queer and/or anarchist has been violently disturbed by a person who has been doing this for the past years around Amsterdam. This person, an artist named [xxxx], is going around these events, trying to pick fights and looking for drama. Usually she is also drunk. When she is asked to leave, she beats people, spits at people, kicks people and screams at people, all without anyone having touched her. These people are mostly queer people and women, and have also been people of color.
Because she is herself a trans woman of color, a lot of people who don´t know her assume that she is the victim in the situation. Please know: she is not. [xxxx] is getting in fights everywhere she goes. If you want to help [xxxxx], help to escort her to the exit, help her fix her alcohol problem and her need for violence. Being a minority is no excuse for this behaviour.
Also, please tell organizers of public events and spaces to not give a platform to [xxxxx] anymore untill she gets her shit together. For a community that is so focussed on violence against queer people, it is utterly bizarre to see [xxxx] beat and kick people in a drunk rage one day, then seeing her on the stage at a demo as a so called community leader the next day.
Because [xxxxx] is a public figure by her own choice, posing as a community leader, and has shown time and again to not listen to or accept help from her own community, I feel it is justified to post this message public.
I don´t want this violence in my community. [xxxxx], please heal yourself or fuck off.

Did not know Indymedia was the place to complain about nutcases who basically need psychiatric help.
Instead of trying to do an intervention and use the proper channels to get somone the help they deserve
it seems more of a thing to publicly out someone who shows disturbing behavior. This is not at all a Left Wing
thing to do. It is not social, not caring, not moral. It is a typical extreme right wing thing to do.
Now either you get some people together for a proper intervention and help this disturbed person out or
basically you can fuck off with your hateful and downright nazi-like speech.
You are not woke, not socialist, not liberal nor are you progressive. You are as narrow minded as they come.

What if the proper channels are full or again the person refuses help? If *you* want to start an anarchist intervention team, rehab clinic, or something like that, and will take up the effort, much respect, go for it. In the mean time, the anarchist scene is not a clinic and its volunteers are not punching bags.

If you have serious critique of how the Vrankrijk functions and what you believe should be the way, write an (anonymous if that is what you prefer) 'opinie' artikel. Alternatively, face that Vrankrijk is not your favorite place and go get your kicks somewhere else.
