PYD leader Salih Muslim detained in Prague

TEV-DEM foreign relations official and former PYD leader Saleh Moslem was in Prague, capital city of Czech Republic, to attend a conference.
Moslem was tracked by the Turkish intelligence in the hotel where he was staying, and his images were published by the Turkish media. After this development, Czechian police intensified security measures around the hotel.
Czechian police then came to the hotel and told Moslem that he was to be detained on Turkey’s complaint.
Kurdish officials have made attempts for Moslem’s release but have not received a response yet.

Ik zit toevallig in de Praag op dit moment.
Gelijk vanochtend is er al een demonstratie gehouden om te protesteren tegen de arrestatie van Moslem en er staan meer demonstraties op het programma voor dit weekend.

Klopt, onder een aantal voorwaarden. Ik was bij de demo vanochtend bij de ingang van de rechtbank in Praag, waar de rechter zich boog over vrijlating onder voorwaarden of voortzetting van de opsluiting. Ik heb een aantal foto's en filmpjes gemaakt, zal morgen komen met een kort verslagje.
