Manifestatie solidariteit met de G20 gevangenen!

De G20 in Hamburg en de protesten daaromheen vonden nu enkele maanden geleden plaats, maar van de nasleep zijn we nog lang niet af. Tijdens de top kwamen de politieke en economische leiders van de wereld samen, om de voortzetting te plannen van hun oorlogen, uitbuiting van mensen en dieren en de vernietiging van het milieu.
Het is nodig en hoopvol dat mensen hiertegen in opstand komen. Er gingen in Hamburg tienduizenden mensen de straat op om zich tegen het feestje van de elite te verzetten.
De Duitse staat probeert nu enkele individuen te criminaliseren en het gesprek te laten draaien om flesjes en vuurwerk die al of niet door de lucht gingen. Weinig geloofwaardig als bliksemafleider voor de echte problemen in deze wereld.
Vanaf dag één zijn de acties tegen de G20-top met harde hand onderdrukt. Door het politiegeweld en de escalatietechnieken zijn honderden mensen gewond geraakt en opgepakt. Ruim dertig internationale arrestanten zitten nog vast in Duitse gevangenissen in afwachting van hun proces. Idealen en ideeën worden door de rechtsstaat de mond gesnoerd. Elk tegen geluid wordt de kop ingedrukt, en dat is iets wat wij niet accepteren.
Tegen de repressie! Vrijheid voor alle arrestanten!

G20 protest and state repression. Solidarity with Peike and other prisoners!
The G20 in Hamburg and the protests against it took place a few months ago already, but its aftermath is still in full course. During the G20, political and economic leaders of the world gathered in order to plan the continuation of their wars, exploitation of people and animals, and the destruction of the environment. To revolt against this is necessary and gives hope. Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in Hamburg to obstruct these festivities for the elite. The German state, in an attempt to criminalise a few individuals, has now rapidly changed the topic to bottles and fireworks which were thrown (or not) during the riots. Not very convincing as a distraction for the real problems in this world.
From the first day, the actions against the G20 were met with harsh repression. Hundreds of people were hurt and arrested due to police violence and the tactics of escalation. There are still over thirty international prisoners awaiting trial in German prisons. They try to shut up our ideals and ideas through the law. All opposition faces oppression, and this is something we should not accept.
Against this repression! Freedom for all arrestees!
