Gisterennacht zijn een aantal huizen in de Jordaan gemarkeerd met antitoerismegraffiti, in protest tegen de opkomende trend van het verhuren van woningen aan toeristen terwijl duizenden mensen in de stad op zoek zijn naar een woning. Dit kan zo niet meer.
De AirBnB-deal van de gemeente en de wet tegen illegale hotels zijn niet genoeg -- zeker als die niet wordt gehandhaafd. We zullen met onze acties escaleren tot dit veranderd, en we roepen al onze kameraden en buren op om in actie te komen: vind de schandalige 'spook'appartementen die overal om ons heen opduiken, markeer ze, ontmasker ze, en saboteer de hotelmarkt todat zij barst. We kunnen niet wachten tot de wet recht aandoet!
Dit zijn de adressen van hotels in de Jordaan, achterhaald door wat simpel gegoogle. Gebruik ze als je wilt! En laat dit een dreigement zijn voor iedere apartmenteigenaar in de stad zijn: een huis moet een thuis zijn, en als je je niet aan dit principe houdt---we zullen je vinden.

1st action regarding luxury tourist apartments in Amsterdam -- with address list!
Last night, two handfuls of houses were marked with anti-tourism graffiti in protest of the mass trend of subletting luxury apartments to tourists while thousands of people are looking for a home in the city. This must stop now. The municipality's AirBnB deal and 'illegal hotel' ruling are not enough -- especially if this isn't being upheld. We will escalate our actions until this changes, and we call upon all our comrades and neighbours to come into action: find the shameful 'ghost' apartments that are all around us, mark them, unmask them, and sabotage the hotel market until it breaks. We can't depend on the law to do justice!
These are the addresses of hotels in the Jordaan neighbourhood, retreived by some simple googling. Use it if you like! Let this be a threat to every apartment owner in the city: houses should be homes, not hotels, and if you don't abide this principle, we will find you.
