The Cop who shot Rishi Chandrikasing in the back of the neck on Den Haag HS station on the 23rd of november last year, has been acquitted of murder and manslaughter. While Rishi was unarmed and was running from the cops in fear, the pig in question claims to have acted in "self-defence".
Any person who witnessed the kafkaesque show trial of the unknown cop (the name of that sorry piece of yet-to-be-roasted bacon was kept secret) would have had to fight the urge to throw up. It was a nauseating experience. Rishi's family, who attended the trial of their relatives' murderer, were thrown from tears to anger and back again, while the judge acquitted the murderer of all charges and of any future prosecution. The customary lies and excuses to justify the decision could not have been more outragious.
The charge for murder was dropped because it had been added to the case two weeks before the trial, therefore, so argued the judge, the charges were "undesirable and unnecessarily offensive" to the murderer-cop. As if to say that killing an innocent citizen is not, as long as it has been done by a cop.
The charge of manslaughter was dropped because the cop had acted in a 'justifiable manner', under dutch law a cop is allowed to shoot a 'dangerous fire-arm carrying individual' if such an individual tries to escape or when in self-defence. The shooting must be done in a shoot-to-apprehend kind of fashion, in other words: to shoot the fleeing person in the legs to immobilize him.
Now how was the cops' behavior justifiable? First, When Rishi started running (probably because he saw a plain-clothed cop pointing a gun at him) and grabbed his phone, the cops 'mistook it for a gun', thus making Rishi a dangerous fire-arm carrying individual, justifying the police shooting. Secondly, the cop had aimed for the legs, but missed the legs and hit the back of the neck, or so the argument goes. To make the judge seem a bit more objective he gave the cop a slap on the wrist for not shooting from a stable walking position, as the protocol subscribes. Then went on to acquit the cop from any further prosecution.
And so, the rascist murder-cop walks.
This makes me think of Mark Duggan. A phone was mistaken for a gun and Mark was shot dead by a copper. After his death the riots started. This case is still ongoing though.
There's a really good video made about the riots btw: "Riot from wrong". A must see!
