De EU voert op dit moment -letterlijk- vrijhandelsbesprkingen met Peru en Colombia waarin precies dezelfde toegang tot het Amazonegebied geeist wordt waar de lokale bevolking zich tegen verzet en wat tot het bloedbad van 6 juni heeft geleid. Daarom zou de EU de omstreden onderhandelingen moeten stopzetten. Om dat te eisen is een petitie gelanceerd die not tot 18.00 uur vanavond door organisaties ondertekend kan worden.
