Niets is heilig voor de geldzucht van De Key. Monumenten van sociale woningbouw zoals het Coöperatiehof en omgeving niet, evenmin als benedenhuizen, uitstekend geschikt, niet voor jonge starters, maar voor senioren. Daarvoor is de gemeentelijke regeling Van Hoog Naar Laag in het leven geroepen, mede om doorstroming te bevorderen. Ook nu weer: Coöperatiehof 12-huis is door De Key te koop aangeboden voor €495.000. Met onze 152ste flitsactie gaat actiegroep zaterdag hiertegen in verzet.
Heeft De Key wat te verbergen?
De signalen zijn aanwezig. Het was de warmste juni sinds 1901. Regenbuien zetten in minuten de straat blank. Keer op keer komen er berichten naar buiten dat bedrijven al decennia wisten hoe vervuilend ze zijn. Er worden grote massa acties gedaan, maar niet altijd met blijvend resultaat. Politici komen keer op keer hun beloften niet na.
Weer richt actiegroep Niet Te Koop, nu met de 153ste flitsactie, haar pijlen op vastgoedcorporatie Stadgenoot, die openlijk en in het geniep door blijft gaan met het verkopen van woningen '....die niet passen in haar vastgoedportefeuille'. Wil zeggen: woningen die zo verwaarloosd zijn dat je ze liever kwijt wil dan ze op te knappen en woningen uit complexen waar al uit is verkocht, wat het beheer bewerkelijk maakt. Bestevâerstraat 281-huis voldoet aan beide criteria en wordt daarom te koop aangeboden voor het lieve sommetje van €450.000.
