We demonstrate because of the recent decision of the Dutch government to deport Somali people back to Somalia, even though Somalia is in a constant state of insecurity. This decision is a result of a deal made with some Somali ministers, which we believe is unclear and unfair. In Somalia is an on going war raging between the government and Al Shabab. This war will cause serious harm to those who the Dutch government intends to deport. We believe deportations to Somalia are a violation of human rights. Therefore we are strongly condemning the Dutch government for this decision. | 17

Come and help us spreading flyers and tell Starbucks customers what their favourite coffee retailer is doing in the USA: they're members of the Grocery Manufacturers Association who is suing small US state Vermont for wanting to let consumers know what they eat by labeling GM food. On top of not respecting people's right to information of what's in their food, corporations should not be using lawsuits to overturn legitimate, democratic decisions! As the year 2014 draws to a close, we would therefore like to invite the Fossielvrij NL network and other climate activists to get together one final time for an informal evening at Het Spinhuis (Amsterdam), to look back on 2014, look forward to 2015, and just enjoy each other's company and have some fun.
