Nobody said anything about Putin. What's with the obsession with Putin anyway? Do you seriously think that an independent class position is going to be found with Putin? Or do you think it'll be found with the Kiev regime and you're just projecting? I find that some looking around for class positions creates some interesting hypothetical scenarios as far as it comes to arming regimes and such. For example:
1) Assume non-hypothetically that firefights have been taking place in the streets of Mariupol between Azov nazis on the one hand and former Donetsk miners on the other hand.
2) Assume non-hypothetically that those Donetsk miners ended up there in that firefight through basically this:
2.1) The Kiev regime decided to enforce Banderism (so-called "decommunization" banning communism like hammers & sickles or the internationale, the glorification of Stephan Bandera as national heroes, and such things) on the whole territory of Ukraine.
2.2) A bunch of miners in Donetsk went on strike against this and supported a referendum on autonomy for the Donbass region (about 75% of the Donbass region voted in favour of autonomy in one form or another, this is further confirmed by independent opinion polls).
2.3) The centralist Kiev regime refused to accept the autonomy referendum and started throwing nazis in tanks at people in the Donbass.
2.4) Those Donetsk miners went on strike again demanding the Kiev regime to stop throwing nazis in tanks at them or they would take up arms in 48h.
2.5) The Kiev regime refused, and so take up arms they did. Even got themselves some howitzers and stuff.
2.6) Fast-forward 8 years of this shit, and some are engaged in streetfights in Mariupol against Azov nazis.
3) Assume hypothetically that we consider a neo-nazi paramilitary formation like Azov always illegitimate, and a popular militia like the Donetsk miners legitimate at least in as much as they're fighting illegitimate neo-nazi formations.
4) Assume hypothetically that we thereby qualify the people from popular militias killed by neo-nazi paramilitaries as "neo-nazi murders."
5) Assume non-hypothetically that those Donetsk miners in those firefights have been sustaining disproportionate casualties, specifically because of the availability of advanced combat gear like night vision goggles to the Azov nazis, as confirmed on the ground in Mariupol and by intercepted radio communications from Azov fighters, whereas they themselves, being just a popular militia, lack such equipment.
6) Assume non-hypothetically that people have been sending specifically that sort of combat gear, night vision goggles and things like that, to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
7) Assume hypothetically that some of that specific gear got into the hands of those specific nazis in those specific firefights.
Could we then, hypothetically, argue that at least some of the people under point 6 could be considered materially complicit in neo-nazi murders? Not that I'm implying anything about comrades specifically, I'm certain that comrades are careful about checking where their combat gear donations end up, just general thoughts.
