In my country, America, as in many others, we tend to think of the people in law enforcement and intelligence working behind the scenes where we can't see them as people that get the job done. We take for granted, most often without question, that these are always people giving taxpayers their money's worth. We often enough view them as people putting their lives on the line everyday and taking big risks. We just feel they are always keeping us safe and rarely do we question their work.
