Parweiz Sangari is 20 years old and comes from Afghanistan.

After his father was killed and his house was burned, Parwais got seriously injured and barely escaped abduction. He managed to escape to Belgium.

He has integrated and speaks Dutch. He has found a family that wishes to adopt him.

Yet the governement wants to send him back: the evidence of his story, provided by local politician Zahir Sadaat, arrived AFTER the start of his procedure.

His flight is leaving on monday. His only hope lies with Maggie de Block, State Secretary of Immigration for Belgium and a politician.

We live in a democracy. We choose this people. With this page we want to send a message to the politicians that in this case, we choose differently. We choose for Parweiz, for allowing him a chance to be with us and to live his life in safety.

Hallo

Ik bel op om mijn ongenoegen uit te drukken over het feit dat KLM meewerkt aan onmenselijke deportaties. Ik begrijp niet dat een bedrijf als KLM geen menselijke ethiek hanteert en vind het dan ook getuigen van mensonwaardige praktijken.

Ik wil KLM met aandrang vragen deze passagier "Meneer PARWAIS" dan ook te weigeren op de vlucht. Als u geen gehoor geeft aan deze oproep vanuit heel Belgie en Nederland, dan stellen wij de menselijkheid van u en uw collega's ernstig in vraag.

Jullie hebben als vliegtuigmaatschappij de vrije keuze een passagier al dan niet te weigeren. Een weigering zou jullie als maatschappij en u als mens je uitstraling ten goede komen. Hiermee kunnen jullie verhinderen dat iemand de dood zou vinden.

Ik hoop dat u er alles - als mens - en bedrijf - er alles aan zal doen deze passagier te weigeren. Wij nemen ons voor de wereld ook in te lichten over jullie keuze die jullie uiteindelijk nemen.

Concrete vragen die je ook kan stellen:

- Hoe ga je als telefonist nu met deze oproep aan de slag gaan? Wat zijn je volgende stappen?
- Als u enkel uw baan uitvoert en orders uitvoert, hoe bepaal jij je menselijkheid?
- Hoe zal u omgaan met uw geweten als die jongen teruggestuurd wordt en de dood vindt?
- Als u mij niet verder kunt helpen met concrete antwoorden, wil u mij dan doorverbinden met iemand die dat wel kan doen? Ik hang niet op en wacht graag.
