Update Miners Resistance Spain

Today there were massive fights again between miners and the Spanish state. We witnessed this resistance from up close from the village of Ciñera. The principal road (high way) AND the train were blocked with all kinds of materials, followed by setting several barricades on fire.
This village lies right next to the principal road and train tracks, and is surrounded by mountains on the other side. After waiting for several hours, the police surprised the people by this time coming from 5 different directions, mostly in small groups. The first cops we saw were up in the mountains from where they fired tear gas and rubber balls (that just bounce arround and scare people). The people fought back by firing firework-like rockets to the cops (but without being able to aim the rockets precisely enough). But when the cops came closer the people were dispersed succesfully, followed by guerilla style small groups with ´rockets´ and some arrests.
Then people shouted from their balconies for hours, while the police tried to keep control of the village until the roads had been cleared. Small confrontations happened from time to time, but mostly the fight was over, and people waited for the police to leave the village.
All in all it was a very impressive showing by the people, as the pictures and video´s will show.

De agenten zijn geen enkele huis of gebouw binnen gegaan. Ze hebben echter wel het hele dorp bezet voor ongeveer 3 uur. Op het filmpje zie je ook agenten de straten patrouilleren; GEEN illegale huiszoekingen.

what is the stand of the 'Confederación Nacional del Trabajo' on this struggle? same for the 'Federación Anarquista Ibérica' (closely related to each other, as far as i am informed...)

De mijnwerkers en metaalafdeling van de CNT roept in ieder geval op om de demo 11 juli te ondersteunen.
Mijn spaans is niet heel goed maar volgens mij spreken ze solidariteit uit met de strijd van de mijnwerkers in Asturias.
Daarnaast zetten ze zich af tegen het gedrag van de grote vakbonden UGT en CCOO. En vinden het jammer dat het protest zich niet afzet tegen de medeplichtigheid en het bureaucratische gekonkel van die bonden en parlementaire politiek. Wel vinden ze de vorm, directe actie, goed. Hoewel ze de radicaliteit van de protesten meer zien als een kwestie van vorm dan van inhoud.
Dus volgens mij komt het er vooral op neer dat de mijnwerkers niet ver genoeg gaan in hun standpunten.

My Spanish is not very good. They appear to say they are in solidarity with the Asturian miners.
Besides that they distance themselves from the conduct of the big unions, UGT and CCOO. They also think it's a shame the protests don't denounce the accessory and bureaucratic nature of the big unions and parliamentary politics. The form, direct action, they approve of. But they do think the radicalism of these protests is more in the form then in the content.
So it looks like the think the miners aren't going far enough in their views.

Op 10 en 11 juli zijn er weer protesten voor de mijnwerkers.
Gisteravond en vanochtend zijn er door de smeris weer verschillende plaatsen belegerd. Zie bijvoorbeeld dit filmpje:
