Intifada Squatted Social Centre threatened with eviction! Our squatted social centre and house are under threat of eviction. We are in court on the 15th of February at 9:30 am. Please join and show support!
The squatted social centre and house on the Krom Boomsloot 45 in Nieuwmarkt is potentially facing eviction.
The Curator of the owner is taking us to court (a civil case) claiming that they want to sell the building after many years of vacancy.
They however have no proof of future plans and also do not have the required permission of a judge to sell the house. An eviction will likely lead to the house to be left to rot once again. Whatever happens in court we will stay!
A 'curator' indicates a bankrupcy. Who is this ominous owner? How much information do you have about a possible bankrupcy ?
Also: can you publish the court summons ?
