Imprisonment is for Burning (2023) deals with the reality of prison society and one character’s refusal to back down in the face of state and capital. The context begins in ‘Danni’, a threatened forest of middle Germany during the time of covid, and ends with release after a year and a half of incarceration, into the arms of those that kept on fighting beyond the walls.
Ella’s mission continues, reaffirming with thoughts, words and actions the need for a more loving, integrated and connected world, letting the old one of rewards and punishments be ashes in the wind.
