Our fallen comrade Ilya Leshiy once said: "A fascist's 'love' for Nature is nothing more than hypocrisy." At the time, he was talking about the confrontation between grassroots activists, concerned local residents and big capital and bought or deceived subcultural neo-Nazis.
Our fallen
Today, the problem has reached a fundamentally new level. The fascist Russian state blew up the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant, which put thousands of people on the brink of survival, destroyed the ecosystems of the lower reaches of the Dnipro River, and led to the death of a huge number of animals left chained or in zoo cages, or simply unable to find shelter and escape.
Immediately after this horrific crime, the entire propaganda machine of the "Russian world," and its Western lackeys, both from the "right" and "left" sides, rushed to accuse Ukraine of the crime.
This gives us a sense of déjà vu, as we observed exactly the same processes when, liberating Kyiv and Kharkiv regions, Ukrainian soldiers, including our comrades, revealed to the world the traces of Putin's army's crimes.
We are confident that there is no need to explain to the people of Ukraine who is to blame for this disaster and what we all need to do. You are well aware of the lists of organizations supporting people and animals.
We advise our Western comrades to use their heads, not to believe Russian propaganda, even when it is hiding under a left-wing sign, and to support solidarity organizations that are already fighting the consequences of the act of environmental terrorism. Below is a list of initiatives engaged in helping the victims of ecocide:
Solidarity collectives
