Op vrijdag 13 december presenteren we als Your Local Pirates onze eerste CD!
Friday, 13 December, we as Your Local Pirates will present our first CD! Title: ‘A Fair Warning’: Scroll down for English
De titel is ‘ A Fair Warning’, en er staan 14 liedjes op, zowel Engelstalige als Nederlandstalige. Vrijwel alle songs zijn door onszelf gemaakt. Alleen Op De Barricades is een eigen vertaling van A Las Barricadas, aloud strijdlied uit de Spaanse Revolutie.
De CD-presentatie zal bestaan uit een feestelijk optreden van Your Local Pirates, met enkele verrassingen er om heen. We zullen liedjes spelen die op de CD staan, maar ook veel ander materiaal, oud en nieuw. Natuurlijk zal daar de CD in flinke aantallen aanwezig zijn voor de liefhebbers. De prijs ervan wordt 5 euro. Dat geld is bedoeld om uit de kosten te komen en wordt verder in onze muzikale activiteiten gestoken.

Friday, 13 December, we as Your Local Pirates will present our first CD! Title: ‘A Fair Warning’. The CD contains 14 songs, some in English, some in Dutch. Almost all songs are written by ourselves. Only ‘Op De Barricades’ is our own translation of A Las Barricadas, that old song from the Spanish revolution.
The CD-launch will consist of a festive concert of Your Local Pirates, with some surprises. We will play songs from our CD, but also a lot of other material, old and new. Of course, the CD will be available for fans. The price will be 5 euro. That money will help cover our costs and moreover, will be put into our musical activities.
