On the Saturday the Climate Camp in the Rhineland starts once again! From August 11 to 22 we want to reflect, strategize and deepen our relationships with the local population. And create a beautiful camp together!
The camp space will be the same as last year (except for the football pitch). Here's the info on getting there and check our list of what to bring, in order not to forget anything!
The programme is focussed on solidarity with the local struggles, reflecting the work of the climate justice movement and thinking of new strategies for the future. There are lots of events and a lot of time for Open Space. A few highlights:
** Discussion with local residents of the endangered village Keyenberg and members of the miners' trade union IG BCE: Monday August 13
** Conference "Structures for Change" from Wednesday till Friday (August 15 to 17)
** Strategy conference of the German speaking climate justice movement (webpage in German) from Friday till Sunday (August 17 to 19)
** Lots of cultural events: Films, aerial acrobatics, political comedy and great parties!
Of course there will be child care.
We're looking forward to seeing you!

P.S.:
We're in need of money, so if you can't come to the camp but would like to support us, we'd be very grateful!
