ASEED feast!
Vrankrijk is willing to welcome ASEED Europe for a lovely diner, so we could promote and collect funds for our upcoming event: Food Autonomy Festival #2. We will be hosting this benefit as part of the weekly "WTF queer voku" (people's kitchen) and "WTF queer bar night".
Come by for a lovely delicious vegan meal prepared with much love from veggies that would have otherwise been thrown away. The menu will depend on which veggies we collect, and will be announced on the day itself ♥
In addition to that, we will make some delicious WAFFLES with home made nutella on it (if you are greedy hihi)!
Last but not least, we will invite incredible people to perform on the stage and warm up the crowd!
First the famous Ewan Cameron from Plantage dokhuis, will give an original poetic performance, followed by Martin and Anna performing as Mice Elves. Their style would be Acoustic Nederlandse Norwaveguitarist!
To finish, the trashy music band "Ookle" will perform during one hour!
What is this festival? The Food Autonomy Festival (FAF) is about presenting and celebrating alternatives and resistance to the state and corporate-controlled industrial food system. It will take place the 26th May in Bajesdorp. During the FAF, various collectives will present concrete alternatives to become autonomous from agro-industrial corporations and fossil fuels. From practical activities to talks and debates on agroecology, urban farming and land struggles... Everyone will have the opportunity to contribute and be part of a necessary transition!
