Denmark: riots during the event "reclaim the streets"

This year's edition of the festival "reclaim the streets", which takes place on 16 October in Copenhagen (Christiania), turned into violent riots and clashes with the police.




Participants of the event were few, however, on the site appeared to be quite a large group of representatives of the black bloc, joining to climb the barricades and attacking police with stones and Molotov cocktails. The officers responded with tear gas. Riots on a larger scale started around 21:30 and lasted until late at night.
