Op dinsdag 15 juli 2014 organiseert AFA Den Haag in samenwerking met ReInform een vertoning van de film ‘Fascism Inc’ in het Autonoom Centrum Den Haag.
Deze nieuwe film volgt in de voetstappen van Debtrocracy en Catastroika. Het beschrijft de situatie in Griekenland en de oorzaak van de schuldencrisis, de impact van de bezuinigingsmaatregelen, de erosie van de democratie en de uitverkoop van allerhande staatsbedrijven in het land. De film presenteert onbekende korte verhalen uit het verleden, heden en de toekomst van fascisme en de relatie met economische belangen in elk tijdperk. We reizen van Mussolini’s Italië naar Griekenland bezet door de nazi’s, de burgeroorlog en de dictatuur, van Hitlers Duitsland tot het moderne Europese en Griekse fascisme.
De avond begint met een korte inleiding door iemand van ReInform, daarna zal de film vertoond worden, met daarop een discussie. Voorafgaand zal er een veganistische maaltijd zijn. De film is Engels ondertiteld.

AFA Den Haag filmscreeing: Fascism Inc + Discussion
On Tuesday the 15th of July AFA Den Haag in cooporation with with ReInform will host a screening of the movie ‘Fascism Inc’ at the Autonomous Centre The Hague.
This new documentary follows in the footsteps of Debtocracy and Catastroika, which described the causes of the debt crisis, the impact of the austerity measures, the erosion of democracy and the sell-out of the country’s assets. We will present to you unknown short stories from the past, the present and the future of fascism and its relation to the economic interests of each era. We will travel from Mussolini’s Italy to Greece under the nazi occupation, the civil war and the dictatorship; and from Hitler’s Germany to the modern European and Greek fascism.
The evening starts with a short introduction by someone from the ReInform collective, followed by the movie. After the movie there will be a discussion. A vegan meal will be served before the movie. The movie is has English subtitles.
