Benefit Party for the workers of Greek Steelworks SA that are on strike since October 31st.
Since October 31st, the workers of Greek Steelworks SA in Athens are on strike. They started their strike when the employer decided to cut down their salaries by 40%, forced them to work 5 hours a day and to fire a large number of workers.
The solidarity event will begin at 21:00 with a 10 min documentary on the strike and a short discussion on the strike itself and its meaning for the Greek society.
At 22:00, the party begins. All proceeds from the party will be given as financial support to the workers on strike.
