On the 14the of January there will be a discussion about squatting held in the Vrankrijk in Amsterdam. To make the goal of this discussion a bit clearer we have posted some points that would be discussed. They are the following.
We would like to start with a short reflection on the past year
every city, group or individual can briefly tell about there different projects, and tried tactics and problems they ran into along the way. If people feel the need these problems can then be discussed and advice and/or constructive criticism can be given.
Then there is room to talk about actions / demos / swomping / occupying and action weekends and other activities organized that have to do with squatting but might not be a squatting action.
Then we can split into smaller groups with different topics.
For example, public relations and media, security and repression creativity vs. tradition, and mutual cooperation and solidarity.
There will also be room for other points that people might have on the day.
This discussion is not just for Amsterdam. The more input from different city's the better.
We hope to conclude with new ideas and a refreshed outlook on squatting in the Netherlands in 2012.
