Mumia manifestatie van 7 dec. j.l. ter herdenking aan zijn nu 31 jarige opsluiting in Pennsylvania.
Vandaag,9 december 2012 zit de afro-amerikaanse journalist en ex.blackpanterlid, precies 31 jaar in de gevangenis in Pennsylvania.;
daarvan verbracht hij 30 jaar in de dodencel.
begin vorig jaar december werd zijn doodstraf omgezet in levenslang.
De amerikaanse staat denkt dat wij daarmee tevreden zijn, het tegendeel is waar.
Mumia heeft nooit een eerlijk proces gehad, hij zit daar onschuldig.
De doodstraf is omgezet, omdat er geen bewijs is..! Hij moet dus vrij.!
Daarom hebben een aantal vrienden van mumia vrijdag 7 dec. gedemonstreerd voor het amerikaanse
consulaat, met een toespraak en muziek werd zijn vrijlating geeist.
Het aanbieden van een petitie bleek niet makkelijk door de paranoia van het consulaat.
Nadat we ons allemaal wat hadden teruggetrokken en waren gestopt met fluiten, liet
de laffe consul (zijn vervanger) zich heel even veilig achter het hek zien, zodat de petitie werd overhandigd.

's avonds was er een benefiet in de valreep.

Security Message for U.S. Citizens: Protest on Museumplein in Amsterdam

The U.S. Mission to The Netherlands informs U.S. citizens of a protest scheduled for Friday, December 7, 2012, on the Museumplein in Amsterdam.
The protest will be held near the Consulate between 16:00 and 17:30. Police estimate that between 30 to 50 people will participate in this demonstration, which will protest the continued incarceration of convicted murderer Mumia Abu-Jamal in the United States.
In general, protests in The Netherlands are peaceful. Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful, however, can turn confrontational and escalate into violence with little warning. You should avoid areas of demonstrations, and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests, or demonstrations.
