Hear hear! Another folkpunk event at ACU!
We´re stoked to announce the concert of Klezkopf (NL) and Saetas (COL)
Klezkopf (NL) is a band who plays music with folk, balkan and klezmer influences. These three will play some lovely, dancable tunes for you on fiddle, accordion and flute.
Saetas (COL) is a band who you can relate to Days and Daze. With heavy folk and punk influences, they will make sure you will never forget them.
Tickets (€10) available as presale but also at the door. All money goes to the bands.
We gaan weer demonstreren in Eindhoven! Vol goede moed, want twee restaurants hebben al ingegeven! ????

I grew up with mutual-aid as a mindset, it is simply natural to me, and despite my and many other’s repeated disappointment in regards to the authoritarian direction the world has moved towards in the last few decades I have kept hope for a renaissance of the pluralistic ideals but when it comes to the west we’ve more so seen a “dark enlightenment” a complete perversion and betrayal of the ideals which pushed progress and liberty.

Last week, thousands took to central stations across the country. This week, we continue – louder, larger, and more united. The starvation in Gaza hasn’t stopped – so neither do we.
- Gaza is still being starved.
- Borders remain closed.
- Aid is being blocked.
The world is silent. We are not.
Bring your voice, your presence, your solidarity.
! Bring empty plates and pans – let’s make noise with what they don’t have: food.
We would like to talk about the reactivation of mandatory military service. In light of current hawkish war rhetoric, although perhaps different than the zeitgeist of the Cold War when the draft still applied, there are strong similarities and it is conceivable that the draft will return.
As anti-militarists, we oppose such measures, but why? Come join our conversation about conscription to discuss this. Bring your questions and announcements, your doubts and determination, your visions for the future or your stories from the past.

Sidiki, a dual citizen of Russia and Italy, carried out two attacks in 2023. The first took place in the summer, when he attempted to strike the Dyagilevo military airfield near his home in the Ryazan Region using drones. He later explained that the sound of military aircraft overhead coincided with Russian strikes on Ukraine, which influenced his choice of target. Despite the attack, authorities failed to identify or apprehend Sidiki at the time.
