Het thema van dit jaar is ‘Storytelling, telling stories of crises and new beginnings’. De Pinksterlanddagen is een jaarlijks terugkerend evenement voor en door anarchisten, rebellen, en kameraden om samen te komen, netwerken te bouwen, plannen te smeden, en samen tijd door te brengen. Ook dit jaar zal tijdens het pinksterweekend het kampeerterrein tot Vrijheidsbezinning in Appelscha weer opbloeien met workshops, discussies, en natuurlijk een avondprogramma vol muziek en cultuur. A full-scale war broke out in Ukraine, caused by imperialist ambitions of Russia. In the situation when two mechanized armies fight each other on the scale rarely seen for decades, there is no easy solutions for anarchist, left and antifascist activists. Considering all of the suffering which Russian imperialist aggression brought to Ukraine, antiauthoritarian activist decided to join the military struggle. Zaterdag zal Ter Apel weer het toneel zijn voor een vertoning van xenophobie en racisme door Geert Wilders die ondersteund zal worden door de extreemrechtse nationalisten van de NVU. Wij noorderlingen zijn klaar met het beeld waarin we als domme en racistische mensen worden neergezet, dat we geen vluchtelingen willen en dat het probleem ligt bij de vluchtelingen in het aanmeldcentrum in Ter Apel en niet bij het beleid van de overheid. In een interview op beeld werd helaas duidelijk dat er weinig ethisch besef te vinden is bij dit restaurant: de productiemethode (en daarbij dus het gruwelijke dierenleed) van foie gras doet niet ter zake, ze werken met producten die mogen in Nederland, en als iemand het daar niet mee eens is moeten ze naar Den Haag. Wat is er gebeurt met zelf nadenken over kwesties als dierenleed? Deze reactie geeft nog een extra reden om erheen te gaan en het restaurant te wijzen op de eigen verantwoordelijkheden. | 4
