Op maandag 19 april start de sloop van de Tweebosbuurt. De buurt is in de afgelopen jaren het symbool geworden voor alles wat er mis is met het Rotterdamse woonbeleid: de afbraak van sociale huurwoningen, discriminatie en uitsluiting, gebrek aan zeggenschap voor bewoners. Recht op de stad organiseert samen met Cultural Workers Unite - Rotterdam, BPW Rotterdam en Rotterdam voor 14 een dag voor een beter en eerlijker woonbeleid: als eerbetoon aan de Tweebosbuurt, steun aan de bewoners en protest tegen het woonbeleid. SHUT DOWN THE AZC DETENTION CENTERS! - FREEDOM FOR ALL NOW! On Wednesday 21.04 an Asylum seeker in the AZC Echt has caused several injuries and left 2 dead. This is yet another case of very serious mental health situations from this facility. Almost on a monthly basis, we hear news about suicides within this facility. Marlen is only the most recent examples. Scientists from the Radboud University in Nijmegen have just released a report in which they consider the Dutch immigration system as inherently inhumane. | 24
