Ende Gelände organizes yearly actions directed towards climate justice and the end of coal. This year it will take place in the weekend from 19 to 24 June.
In this Basta! evening we will discuss what EG is all about, how the action is structured and how you can participate! There will be a short video, an interactive part and a Q&A session with people who have already participated in the last years.

Amelisweerd is prachtig en een geliefd stuk natuur voor mensen die de herrie van de stad even willen ontvluchten. Met dit hardloopevent vragen we aandacht voor de zinloze verbreding van de snelweg en de bomenkap in Amelisweerd die hiermee gepaard gaat. De geplande verbreding van de weg zal ook leiden tot een verdere verslechtering van de luchtkwaliteit en nog meer geluidsoverlast.

Concerning Violence schetst met behulp van archief beeldmateriaal de realiteit van kolonialisme in Afrika en het gewapend verzet daartegen. Gecombineerd met stukken uit Frantz Fanon’s gelijknamige essay (in gesproken door Lauryn Hill), legt Concerning Violence zonder censuur het dagelijkse geweld van kolonialisme en witte overheersing bloot. Verder behandelt het het noodzakelijk gewelddadig verzet daartegen en de dekolonisatie van Afrika.

Of je nu nieuw bent of een ervaren activist, de laatste jaren waren een uitdaging voor iedereen betrokken bij de strijd tegen autoritarisme in vele vormen. Rechts-extremisme wint terrein in Nederland, zoals we hebben kunnen zien bij de laatste verkiezingen. Het Hannie Schaft congres is een mogelijkheid voor antifascisten om elkaar te ontmoeten, van elkaar leren en tactieken en ervaringen te delen. We willen op het congres ook kritisch kijken naar onszelf en onze rollen in een beweging die werkt aan het uitbannen van racisme, seksisme, homofobie en transfobie.
This evening has it all! The first part will be about Ende Gelände this summer, 19th - 24th of June (a German civil disobedience collective that successfully squats coal mines since 2015), the second part will be Information on Actions in Groningen in the Ende of the summer (24th- 31st of August).
Feel free to join only part of the evening.
The evening will be held either in Dutch or English, according to the audience, translation can be arranged in any case.

The result of 5 months of playful improvisational rehearsals, where through self-representation, migrants share stories of their journey and living in the Netherlands facing a long lasting uncertainty after having crossed many, colonial, borders.

From the lignite mines in the Rhineland to the port of Amsterdam or the streets of Paris during the World Climate Summit, the struggles for climate justice are fought at more and more fronts. Beyond the red lines is the story of a growing movement that says “Enough! Here and no further!” and commits civil disobedience taking the transition towards a climate just society into its own hands.
Threats turned into real so today (8 Juni) we got to our hands letter from OM and now we preparing for propably last event here the muyai thai seminary at Free Head Kick gym with Kamil Siemaszko so we will inform about progress of situations.
