The Cultural Free-haven ADMamsterdam is currently seriously threatened with eviction by the owners of the terrain (Amstellimo BV and Chidda vastgoed BV) owned by the heirs of the infamous and mafia related real-estate speculator, Bertus Lüske.
They claim to have signed a lease with Koole Maritime BV, which starts out on October 1st. 2015.

We, the inhabitants and users of the ADM terrain, try to give an update on our current situation. An earlier post was removed on our behalf as we decided it contained some information, that shouldnt be shared publicly at that moment. All people who are officially living and working on ADM are summoned by the wowners and this group is represented by 5 laywers. Together we have to find a balance which informations to share. Nevertheless it is very important to spread the word about who we are and what we do, what is going on in and around our homes, workspaces, the ADM terrain and its nature.

here now some update on what happend on friday 28 of august 2015

Koole Maritime BV did come three times to the ADM terrain and started destroying the nature without the proper permits.
They were stopped on all three occasions by the police, but every time they managed to take out more and more nature.
Koole Maritime tells a different story each time about putting in some kind of road.
They started out saying that it was supposed to be an emergency road, then they said a temporary building road and now they say it needs to be an official road with drainage and everything.
That road, they claim is going to a new office building of theirs at the waterfront, but they haven't obtained permission to build this.
They already started building this road without knowing whether they can continue any of their planned activities on the terrain, as the council did NOT give permission for this yet.
On the terrain in the front of the ADM it has been established that endangered natterjack toads (rugstreeppadden) are living.
Also Koole Maritime destroyed a lot of trees with their 3rd. action - without a permit to do this and they disturbed nesting birds while it had been explicitly demanded, even by the nature research company Waardenburg, which they themselves hired, that they should avoid these.
Noticeable is that Koole Maritime completely clear-cut the nature on top and along the dyke during their last attempt, while they were explicitly told to stay away from there by several official bodies since that is a known area where the natterjack toads live...
However the most threatening part of their actions until now is that they willingly attacked ADM peoples physically with the excavator - twice!

They summoned us to leave before August 1st. 2015 (and to take everything with us!), or face a fine of 50.000 euro's for every day after this date
Three (!) separate legal procedures have been started against us, as of yet

Around 130 residents, ranging from 0 to 80, are currently living between hope and fear
For almost 18 years we've been creating a sustainable community, turning an abandoned and derelict shipbuilding-yard on the outskirts of Amsterdam, into a life laboratory and oasis for the free-spirited and thinkers, in co-operation with the nature around us, by our own means, and with no single cent of subsidy

All over the terrain there are various protected bird species, mammals and wild-flowers to be found, (So far officially established: natterjacks, bats, owls and orchids)

We've hosted around 900 concerts, 100 benefit-events for 3rd. parties, 40 festivals, 10 WinterGames, 7 Bakbrommer-races, 5 Robodocks, 3 SleazeFests and countless other public events

We also support and perform at various other festivals and events in the Netherlands, Europe and the world.
From Oerol to Fusion (DE) and BurningMan (USA) and from RollendeKeukens to TerraMadre(IT) and Macau (HongKong)
