Statement by the campaign TATORT Kurdistan (Crime Scene Kurdistan): 21st August: Turkish Bombs kill seven people in Kandil (North Iraq/South Kurdistan) Erdoğan is responsible for this war crime! The Turkish armed forces with its air strikes on the Kandil region (North Iraq/South Kurdistan) on 21st August 2011 hit a civilian car near the village Bolle in the Kurtek area. Seven people, among them four children and a women, have been torn to pieces by the attack. The mayor of the town Zergele, also a target of the bomb raids, told to ROJ TV, that all victims are from one family. " We all experienced the chemical attacks by Saddam. And now we experience the bomb raids by the Turks and the rocket attacks by the Iranians" the mayor continued. The names of the seven victims: Hasan Mustafa Hasan (grandfather) und Mer Haci Mam (grandmother), their grandchildren Solin Şemal Hasan (6 months), Sonya Şemal Hasan (4 years), Oskar Hüseyin (10 years) and Zana Hüseyin Mustafa (11 years) and their daughter and mother of the children Rezan Hüseyin Mustafa (24 years). Rezan was pregnant with twins. Photos of the victims are present (see attachment) and there is direct contact to the relatives. The campaign TATORT Kurdistan (Crime Scene Kurdistan) condemns these war crimes and demands that the Turkish state and prime minister Erdoğan are made politically and judicially responsible.
