Na jarenlang geïnvesteerd te hebben, blijkt de halsstarrige en repressieve houding van de Nederlandse overheid uiteindelijk toch reden te zijn voor Schijnheilig om zich terug te trekken en politiek asiel aan te vragen in Kosovo. Samen met de uitgerangeerde kunstenaars van Damoclash zal Schijnheilig in een karavaan zich uit het reeds kale politieke en artistieke Nederland verwijderen om een vrijstaat in Pristina te beginnen. Woordvoerder Schijnheilig: ‘Dan niet!’

Samenwerking Damoclash & PRINDI
Damoclash zal samen met PRINDI, Pristina Underground Scene, een festival op touw zetten aan de rand van het Lake Batovc, met bands en kunstenaars uit Amsterdam en Pristhina. Het voorlopig programma: www.damoclash.nl
Damoclash is een terugkerend cultureel festival dat kunst, politiek en debat laat samensmelten in een ludiek evenement. De vrijstaat in Pristina zal asielaanvragen in overweging nemen van ideologische vluchtelingen zoals huurders, mantelzorgers, kunstenaars, en mensen wier ideeėn niet makkelijk in geld valt uit te drukken. Zij is er voor alle mensen wier (anti-)huur te hoog is, wier subsidie gekort is, en wier cultuur een rechtse wending heeft genomen! Puinhopen van paars of bruin?
Genoeg is genoeg!
Begin Augustus wordt afscheid van Nederland genomen, om op 13 Augustus in Pristina de poorten van DAM0CLA5H DAN N13T! te openen!
Ter voorbereiding op de exodus
Op donderdag 28 juli vanaf 20.00 is iedereen is welkom om zich te komen melden bij de tijdelijke ambassade voor de nieuwe vrijstaat, in de Vondelbunker in het Vondelpark. Daar kan informatie ingewonnen worden over de op handen zijnde emigratie en de actuele toestand in Nederland. Men kan zich laten informeren over het 'Ik-hou-van-Holland nationalisme' en politie repressie jegens demonstranten en subculturen. Iedereen die beeldmateriaal heeft van recent politiegeweld wordt gevraagd om dat mee te nemen. Degenen die zullen vertrekken zullen er bovendien alles aan doen om niemand ongewenst achter te laten. Er zullen brieven geschreven worden aan politieke gevangenen in Nederland: mensen in vreemdelingendetentie.
Op zoek naar vervoer
Voor de mensen die meewillen proberen we momenteel een grote bus te regelen. Als er 40 mensen meegaan, dan kost een retourtje rond de 170 euro. Heb je interesse om mee te gaan? Geef het even door via info@damoclash.nl. Je kunt het bedrag overmaken op rekeningnummer 78.69.13.010 t.a.v. Stichting Nulpunt. Mochten we niet aan de 40 mensen komen, dan krijg je uiteraard je geld terug.
Het plan is dat de bus rond 9 augustus vertrekt zodat je zeker op tijd bent voor het festival op de 13e! De bus zal terugkeren in Nederland rond 21 augustus.

Het festival is op de bus na helemaal DIY. Check de hostels in Pristhina, neem je tent mee, contacteer je vrienden van eerdere reizen!

Damoclash teams up with PRINDI
The Dutch budget cuts and severe police brutality towards squatters and cultural activists in The Netherlands is pushing artists into exile. Therefore we're seeking asylum in Kosovo. The 13th edition of the independent culture festival Damoclash will take place in Prishtina, Kosovo! 50 Dutch artists and cultural activists will travel from Amsterdam to Prishtina to merge with the local underground scene.
On august the 13th, at a secluded part of the beautiful Lake Batovc, the 13th Damoclash teams up with PRINDI; the Pristina Underground Scene, to provide the city with a transnational cultural festival where the boundary between countries as well as the boundaries between performers and audience are temporarily annulled. Dutch and Kosovar bands, acts and artists will perform on a joint stage, celebrating the merger of two independent scenes: Prishtina and Amsterdam.

The festival will present and provoke you to join in a chaotic circus-like mixture of music, poetry, film, debate and theatre. Instead of providing the passive consumption of art, Damoclash seeks to initiate and activate all people that feel passionately for performing, confronting and experimenting. Enjoy, experiment and participate!
Damoclash is a free, independent, non-commercial festival for underground artistic potential & activity in every possible form. We have organized 12 festivals in Amsterdam, where music, poetry, debates, art, theatre, and a weird tradition called the cultural peepshow (in which a private one-on-one cultural performance is provided in a very small performance space) are combined to offer a way for the audience to freely participate and connect. Last year, Damoclash celebrated the bankruptcy of the capitalist system. In preparation for the exodus
On Thursday the 28th of July everyone will be welcome to visit the temporary embassy for the new Damoclash free state in Amsterdam at the Vondelbunker, in the Vondelpark at 20.00. Here you can inform yourself on the coming emigration. Information will be provided on 'I-love-Holland-nationalism' and repression of counter culture and demonstrations. Everybody who has images of recent police brutality is asked to bring these along. We will also write letters to political prisoners in foreign detention.
In need of transport
If you are in need of transport: we try to arrange a bus. If we get 40 people together, a return ticket will cost 170 euro. If you are interested to join, contact info@damoclash.nl. You can pay your ticket at account number 78.69.13.010 of stichting Nulpunt. Of course you will get your money back if we we don't get 40 people.
The plan is to leave around the 9th of August from Ansterdam to be in Prishtina on the 13th. The bus will return to the Netherlands on the 21th of August.
