Green Scare Prisoner Marie Mason Put in Solitary Confinement NN - 08.07.2010 12:45
On Thursday, July 1st, Marie Mason was put in solitary confinement. She is being held in a very small, windowless cell where she is only allowed to stand outside (in a small cage) for under an hour each day. Marie Mason Her prison email service is now banned and she can only make one phone call a week. The prison has refused to provide a vegan diet for her so she was buying vegan food with her commissary but now even that is being denied, leaving her with an extremely limited diet. She has been told that she has been “re-classified,” although exactly what this means is unclear. They may be preparing to transfer her. Marie can still receive letters; however, she asks that supporters do not send pictures at this time.
