The Pewenche Territorial Resistance Groups (O.R.T) of the C.A.M. takes responsibility for the burning of a shed and house on Thursday, August 13th in the La Bastilla estate, currently in the hands of the usurper, Beatriz Hiriart; thereby supporting the reclamation process of 3000 hectares carried out by the Lof [Community] Wawanco of Cunco.
This action is also in response for the cowardly murder of Weichafe [Warrior] Jaime Mendoza Collío of the Mapuche Nation, whom died in the hands of police of the terrorist Chilean State. From this side of Wallmapu, we give all of our newen [energy] to his family, and the Requem Pillán Lof [Community] to overcome this painful moment and to continue the process of territorial reclamation that is being carried out. We denounce the political/judicial set-ups carried out by the anti-Mapuche prosecutors, which have lead to the incarceration of leaders and organizers of the Mapuche cause throughout different jails in the terrorist Chilean State.
We denounce the dirty hypocrisy of the current government of “La Concertación,” especially Michelle Bachelet in lamenting the death of of Weichafe [Warrior] Jaime Mendoza Collío, while her hands are stained with blood. Once again, we can see how the terrorist Chilean State defends the rich land estate lords and the economic capitalist system in detriment of our territory and our people. It is for this reason that it is necessary for us to take on the right to defend ourselves.
We want to make clear that the C.A.M. will continue to exist, while the corporate attack with capitalist investments threaten our territory and Mapuche lifestyle; while poverty and misery exist due to the lack of land with state policies that legitimize territorial plunder. Oust the usurping landlord, Beatriz Hiriart from Wallmapu!!
Freedom for Héctor Llaitul, Sergio Tralcal, Mauricio Waiquilao, Ramón Llanquileo, José Hueneche, Ignacio Coña, Jonathan Huillical, Luis Menares Chamilao and all the Mapuche Political Prisoners!!!!!
