Indymedia NL does censor a number of direct action information. It is quite a light content site compared with most part of Indymedia across the world... The moment someone shouts it is taken out of the site.... It is , on my opiniono an alternative mass media (with interesting things alltogether, but that's another story. | censorship | The censor - 10.12.2008 16:59
indeed, The censored, you are right, but I did not intend anything else than making a comment which crossed my mind when reading some others. If it is irrelevant or not, well, I guess each one has its own judgement.

Please stop using the word 'censorship' and 'censor' wrongly. A single website is in no way able to 'censor' anything from the world. Only governments and large corporations are able to censor. A website can only 'moderate'. by on mail or go to a meeting. This website is not meant for discussing editorial moderation policies. But for news. Thank you.

indymedia, does censor a lot of stuff. Not on a scale with that in greece but definitely more militant actions that maybe it wants to distance itself from. If indymedia moderators are not going to be honest about this, i find it hard to understand where the independence is in this alternative media? | censorschip | the censored - 10.12.2008 16:16
