The hungerstrike in Greece has ended.
Last thursday, 20th of november, the massive hunger strike in Greek prisons that started on the 3rd of november, was ended. About 5000 prisoners decided to refuse all food offered by the monsters that run the prisons. Their conditions are horrific, and their demands clear. Even though reformations in the prison society will not set us free, a strong wave of solidarity came along.
According to some informations a minister of parliament promised the prisoners to bring the demands in the parliament for discussion. Apparently the hunger strikers decided to settle with this promise for now. Whatever will come out of that...
