At OVD 38, where the activists arrested today at the hotel blockade are detained, people now get taken fingerprints and photographed by people in civilian clothing - UPOB officers. One of the arrested, a journalist and participant of the Network against G8 demanded legal support, but was told that he had a right to a lawyer only in court. When he said that he knows the law and insisted in contacting a lawyer they started to threaten him that he would be released the last, would be put in the worst prison cell and so on. Lawyers are not allowed into the department. According to the latest information, in the 28 police station there are between 31 and 36 arrested, among them 8 citizens of the former USSR and 8 from other foreign countries.
