Op 13 oktober is er door marokkaanse veiligheidstroepen keihard ingegrepen tijdens een protestactie van Sahrawi's in Boujdour. Hier is een engelstalig bericht over de gebeurtenissen met een lijst van gewonden.
A bloody massacre perpetrated against the Sahrawi protestors in Boujdour, Western Sahara
On Thursday, October 13, 2005, the Moroccan security forces intervened savagely against a group of Sahrawi citizens who started an open sit-in some days ago in front of the Municipality of Boujdour.
At about 07 a.m. GMT, while the protestors were sleeping in their tents, the repressive forces composed of different groups headed by the criminal, Ichi Abou Hassan, intervened violently against them, using 27 cars coming from El Ayun. They savagely beat, kicked and chased the Sahrawi demonstrators in the streets. The Sahrawis were holding pro-independence slogans and others that condemn the brutal intervention.
While visiting the victims of the demonstrations at the hospital, the Sahrawi visitors were again brutalized, especially women and young people, which pushed them to organize another protest demonstration in front of the Madis Hotel, which is near Boujdour province building. It was also barbarously dispersed and many people were injured. These are some of them:

The injured people are far more than this. It is asserted that they re more than 60.Some of them are seriously injured;
-Elbachir Khaya: his head was beaten by trucheons, 15 stitches on the head.
-Lemhamdi Mohamed: severe beating on the head, five stitches.
-Ayoub Kaziza: dangerous injuries made it necessary to take him to Belmehdi hospital in El Ayun.
-Hammadi Towair: serious injuries in different parts of the body.
-Lalla Aabaili: a fracture on her thigh.
-Sidi Zaza: an injury on the head.
-Elmahjoubi Mabrouka: injury on the back.
-Andi Talbi: injury on the head.
-Sidi Mohamed Khaya:injury on the head.
-Mohamed Salem Blaiha: injury on the head.
The list is far too long.
The following houses were broken into:
- The house of the martyr Mbairik Leabaid oul Elaabed.
- The house of Lakhal Mohamed Lamine.
- The house of Hammadi Hamada,etc
The following were stolen:
-The shop of Sid Brahim ould Ali Fal
-The house of Ahl Waddi
-The house of Ahl Boulsan
-The house of Ahl Khaya Salek
-The house of Ahl Dafa
While breaking into the house of Mohamed Boulsane's house, his wife, Hanae Eshayeb, was subjected to abortion ( Her fetus was down before it finishes 09 months in its mother's womb). Both of Talbi Andi and Babait Salek's families have not yet found their children who are still missed.
The city is now under strict police control. The Moroccan repressive forces are flexing their muscles, moving around in the city, led by the torturer, Abderrahman Elkawi. Some military troops have been gathered in the city castles in case the need them.
And while chasing the Sahrawi demonstrators, a urban security van knocked down a landrover belonging to the Sahrawi, Hmaddou Najem; as he woke up of the shock, he was stopped and severely beaten.
In the evening, Sahrawi citizen in Boujdour demonstrated again in front of CTM agency in the Main Street against the savage repression of the Sahrawis, holding pro-independence slogans and calling the Moroccan state to respect human rights in the Western Sahara.
